The Approaching Hour

Surely the day is at hand
Where we shall awake in the hour…
While fear flourishes in the land
As we witness the might of God's power.

Without a doubt, it is now clear
for the blind now truly see...
and the deaf are able to hear
Celebrations of Christ's Victory.

Bowing humbly before our King,
God's angels are heard nearby...
Our offerings we shall bring
As sweet harmony fills the sky.

A promise made with holy love
came true for those who believed
United we are, with the Lord above…
separated from those who deceived.

Only tears of joy will be found
from blessed souls young and old.
Tiny droplets that touch the ground
In His city paved in pure gold.

Strong faith carried us along
God placed His peace in the heart.
To Lord Jesus we'll always belong.
He spoke of this right from the start.

The Good Shepherd cares for His sheep
and caught us from falling off the bend.
Joyful for our salvation and eternally in His keep.
Thankful for answered prayer...praising Him without end!
